Join us at the Dock for exciting, hands-on workshops led by Trisha MacLaughlin, a Forest School Educator and founder of Sligo Woodland School.
Over two Saturdays, participants will explore the native Irish Rush grass, learning to weave and print with it. Through storytelling, we will connect with the ancestral ties to these remarkable plants, creating traditional-style lamps as part of our exploration.Children and young people will step into the role of hunters and gatherers, crafting their own bows and arrows while learning essential skills like whittling and knot-tying.This Saturday Studios is an incredible chance to develop new skills, spark creativity, and deepen connections with the natural world, guided by Trisha MacLaughlin’s expert knowledge and passion for outdoor learning. https://www.thedock.ie/communities/saturday-studios
